Hello everyone! My name is John Lane (Mr. Lane to my future students). I am currently attending Bridgewater State University, where I am double-majoring in Elementary Education and English (Literature Concentration). I am finishing my English major in a few short weeks, will be entering my professional "block" of education classes in the Fall, and will be student teaching and graduating in the Spring of 2022.

Outside of my school life, I work full-time in a residential program that serves students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The boys that I work with are all high school-age. I love working there, and it works well with my full-time school schedule.

I consider myself an incredibly passionate, hard-working, and patient person, and I can't wait until the day that I can call a classroom my own. I'm extremely passionate about social justice issues, being a role model for my students, and helping build future leaders of our world. I plan to be a classroom teacher in either grade three, four, or five. I am not picky on which! I am very excited to begin this journey.
